Includes a bonus story by mangaka Hiromu Arakawa
The latest Fullmetal Alchemist film, Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi, opens in Japan on July 2, and there's a special bonus lined up for those attending. While supplies last, moviegoers will receive a bonus volume of Hiromu Arakawa's popular series, titled Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 11.5 ~Tabidachi no Mae ni~ (Before Embarking on the Journey).
The volume includes a new story drawn by Arakawa herself, but it's not the only bonus ticket-holders have a chance of nabbing. Those who purchase the third round of advance tickets—which have been on sale since November of last year—will receive a 13-page original school calendar with Arakawa's illustrations.
They're also offering a special board illustrated by Arakawa to those who bring vol. 27 of the manga along when they buy advance tickets. Purchasers can even get their copy of the final manga volume's "Memorial Stamp Page" imprinted with the "Hagaren Memorial Stamp." I would imagine these announcements are causing FMA fans outside of Japan to consider an impromptu summer vacation that much more.
