VIDEO: "Halo 4" E3 Clip Stands Out with New Enemies

Master Chief's next adventure gives off a "Metroid Prime" vibe

There was plenty of fodder for folks on Twitter to groan about at Microsoft's E3 press conference today, but select games hushed the snarky commentary for a few moments. Halo 4 was one of them, offering a look at gameplay that refreshingly features new enemies in a colorful locale.

Anyone else get a strange but welcome Metroid Prime vibe from this clip? (EDIT: Apparently I wasn't the only one...) Halo 4 is being developed by 343 Industries—who previously worked on Halo: Reach—and is set for a worldwide Xbox 360 release on November 6.
