Fall 2015 "Owarimonogatari" TV Anime Gets Confirmed, While "Kizumonogatari" Gets Wished For

Speaking of Nisio Isin works, his new "Okitegami Kyoko no Bobiroku" will be taking the adventures of Forgetful Detective Kyoko to manga

Tanabata is a summer festival marking the annual meeting of lover deities Orihime and Hikoboshi. It's set for the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, or July 7 of the Gregorian calendar, and celebrated with traditions that include wearing yukata for summer festivals and tying strips of paper to bamboo, which are often set afloat on a river or burned after the festival. And, the tradition decorating Akihabara JR station with Monogatari messages continued this year.

This year's included teasers, hints and coded messages for the long awaited Kizumonogatari. A 2012 release had been planned for the anime movie.

In summer 2013, Mora, a Japanese online music and video store integrated into Sony's SonicStage software and operated by Label Gate, a joint venture of 17 Japanese record companies including Sony Music Entertainment Japan, listed that the delayed Kizumonogatari anime movie is scheduled for this fall.

Appearing at the Madoka Magica Rebellion US premiere at Hollywood's Egyptian Theater in December 2013, SHAFT's representative director Kubota Mitsutoshi commented on some of the anime studio's plans, in regards to the delayed Monogatari prequel Kizumonogatari he said "please wait a little longer."

The Shaft project adapts Nisio Isin's third Monogatari, with the story "Koyomi Vamp," which follows Koyomi Araragi before the events in Hitagi Crab, focusing around his encounter with the vampire Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade.

Along with this was confirmation that a Owarimonogatari TV anime is coming in fall 2015 (an animator's resume had leaked the plans).

Owarimonogatari ("End Story"), comprised of three volumes, is the twelfth part of the Monogatari series. The fifteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth books overall, they contain the stories Ougi Formula, Sodachi Riddle, Sodachi Lost, Shinobu Mail, Mayoi Hell, Hitagi Rendezvous, and Ougi Dark.

Nisio Isin's three light novels were released in October 2013, January 2014 and April 2014.

A bit of a double meaning teaser/in-joke from the finale of Nisekoi's second season:
