"Ojisan and Marshmallow" Broadcast Schedule Revealed

Short-form office comedy anime hits Japanese airwaves beginning January 07, 2016


The Japanese broadcast schedule for Ojisan and Marshmallow, a short-form comedy anime based on the popular Pixiv web comic by Rekomaru Otoi, has been announced. The series will consist of 5 minute episodes broadcast weekly, with the 1st episode airing during the 25:00 time slot on January 07, 2016, on TV Saitama. Additional airings will continue as follows:


  • Weekly during the 25:30 time slot beginning January 07, 2016, on KBS Kyoto.
  • Weekly during the 25:45 time slot beginning January 08, 2016, on TV Kanagawa.
  • Weekly during the 26:30 time slot beginning January 11, 2016, on Sun TV.


(Please note: The 25:00 time slot actually refers to the 1:00 AM JST time slot on the following day. Japanese broadcasts count the early-morning programming block as an extension of the previous late-night programming block.)



Ojisan and Marshmallow is an office comedy about Hige, a middle-aged man who is obsessed with marshmallows, and Wakabayashi, an office lady who is in love with Hige and tries to capture his attention.
