"Mega Man Mobile" Trailers Put Choppy Ports on Display

You might just want to stick to the Legacy Collection for now

If you were looking forward to the iOS and Android ports of NES classics Mega Man 1-6, you might want to temper that excitement. The Mega Man Mobile releases are now available, and a new set of trailers shows a seriously choppy framerate. 


Apparently this was a deliberate part of optimization for mobile devices, and the speed can be adjusted from Normal to High in the options. We haven't tested them ourselves to see how much faster they go, but they'll run you $1.99 each if you want to give them a spin. Personally, touchscreen control for precision platformers is already kind of a no-go. Your mileage may vary!
