"Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san" Manga Series Reaches Four Million Print Run in Japan

Its latest eighth volume with an original Takagi-san figure goes on sale today

It is confirmed that Soichiro Yamamoto's love comedy manga series Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san, including its two ongoing spin-off titles: Koi ni Koisuru Yukari-chan (illustrated by Yuuma Suzu) and Karakai Jozu no (Moto) Takagi-san (by Mifumi Inaba), has printed four million copies in total.


The latest tankobon volumes of the three, the eighth for TAKAGI-SAN, the first for Yukari-chan, and the second for (Moto) Takagi-san, are simultaneously released today in Japan, along with the series' first official fanbook. With the release of the second volume, (Moto) Takagi-san's print run has topped 500,000 copies.
