Eir Aoi's First Solo Concert in 21 Months to be Held at Nippon Budokan on August 16

Tickets will be sold for her fan club members first from May 7

The official website for 29-year-old anison singer Eir Aoi announced today on April 16 that her solo concert titled "Eir Aoi Special Live 2018 ~RE BLUE~" will be held at Nippon Budokan on August 16. It will be her first concert in 21 months since the last ones at the same venue in November 2016.


As reported, she took a long hiatus from activities due to her health issues after the two-day concert at the venue. She announced her full recovery and return this February.


Meanwhile, her official fan club "Eir Land" is planned to be reopened at noon on May 7 (JST). At the same time with the renewal open, advance entries for the tickets for the Budokan concert will be accepted exclusively from the fan club members.


Her latest song "Ryusei (Meteors)," the OP theme song for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of

Keiichi Sigsawa's light novel Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online, will be digitally available

first via iTunes, mora, and other services from April 22, then its CD will be released on June 13 as a

double A-side single with her another new song "Yakusoku (Promise)."
