The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar TV anime is directed by Kousuke Kobayashi and features animation by EMT Squared. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following schedule:
- Tokyo MX: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on July 07, 2018.
- BS11: every Saturday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on July 07, 2018.
(Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so the 25:30 time slot on Saturdays is actually at 1:30 AM JST on Sunday morning.)
The original light novel The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar novels are published in Japan by Hobby Japan under their HJ Bunko imprint, and an English language version is also available from J-Novel Club, who describe story of the series as follows:
Some urban legends are best left untested! Yuuto Suoh gets more than he bargained for when he joins his childhood friend Mitsuki Shimoya in testing out an urban legend. When he uses his phone to take a picture of himself with the local shrine’s divine mirror, he is whisked off into another world – one heavily steeped in the lore of the old Norse myths. Using his knowledge gained from school and from his solar-powered smartphone, he has the chance to bring the Wolf Clan, the same people who cared for him, to prominence, all while earning the adoration of a group of magic-wielding warrior maidens known as the Einherjar.
