Adaptation based on historical action manga by Nanahiko Takagi hits Sun TV on July 10, 2018
A new trailer for Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki shows exactly what a rag-tag band of samurai are up against when they take a stand against the invading hordes in the upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the historical action manga by Nanahiko Takagi about the Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274 ACE. In the trailer, exiled prisoners are ordered to give their lives for Tsushima, the island at the center of the invasion.
The original Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki manga is digitally distributed on Kadokawa's ComicWalker app. The Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki TV anime is directed by Takayuki Kuriyama and Kumiko Habara and features animation by NAS. The series will broadcast in Japan on Sun TV beginning on July 10, 2018, with later broadcasts to follow on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and BS11.
