Location includes exhibition and event spaces, a character goods shop, and more
The Toei Animation Museum, a gallery dedicated to the works of Toei Animation, is opening to the public in Tokyo on July 28, 2018.
The museum features exhibition and special event spaces as well as a character goods shop, and it includes such attractions as a fountain featuring a statue of Pero (Toei Animation's mascot from the 1969 film Puss `n Boots), a courtyard with chalkboards for guests to draw on, a large touch-screen interface where guests can look up works and watch animation clips, and a gallery featuring production materials such as animation cells and original illustrations.
The Toei Animation Museum is free to the public and open every day except Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00PM. The museum is located at 2 Chome-10-5 Higashiōizumi in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, Japan. Please note that there are no on-location parking facilities, so guests are encouraged to use public transportation when visiting the museum.
