Adaptation based on yuri manga by Nio Nakatani will broadcast in Japan beginning in October of 2018
A new key visual has been released for Bloom Into You (known in Japan as Yagate Kimi ni Naru), an upcoming TV anime based on the tender yuri romance manga by Nio Nakatani about a young girl who discovers that love is nothing like what she'd come to expect from girls' comics and pop music.
The original Yagate Kimi ni Naru manga is serialzied by ASCII Media Works in their Dengeki Daioh seinen manga magazine, and an English language version of Yagate Kimi ni Naru is published by Seven Seas Entertainment under the title Bloom Into You. Seven Seas describes the story of the series as follows:
Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and hearts, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her…she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That’s when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she’s inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?
The Bloom Into You TV anime is directed by Makoto Katō and features animation by TROYCA. It will begin broadcasting Japan in October of 2018.
