Plans are underway for new merch, smartphone game events, and more
Calling all Digi-Destined! The Digimon Adventure 20th anniversary festivities are underway, with multiple collaborations in the works!
The official anniversary Twitter put out news about several initiatives in the works. The list kicks off with a preview of 49 new art settings of both Digimon and Digi-Destined that will be used on merchandise through various outlets throughout the anniversary year, along with a thank-you to the fan base:
Village Vanguard has rolled out a limited-time Digimon Adventure line, featuring pixel art of the characters. Fans can visit the shop to pick up acrylic standees, keyrings, pins, and masking tape featuring the designs:
GraffArt, which specializes in chalk art of popular characters, will be releasing goods featuring circus-themed art. Items include keyrings, pins, clear files, smartphone cases, and more.
And smartphone game Digimon ReArise is preparing for an in-game event, featuring a new story focusing on Omnimon and Diaboromon:
More events and collaborations are in the works, and will be announced at a later date.
