3DCG take on Tsuburaya Productions' iconic tokusatsu super hero heads to Netflix beginning in April of 2019
Netflix Japan has released another short clip for ULTRAMAN, their upcoming 3DCG anime adaptation that puts a new spin on the classic tokusatsu superhero from Tsuburaya Productions, and in this video our hero unleashes his most signature attack: the Spacium Ray!
Tsuburaya Productions also published a behind-the-scenes video featuring the cast and crew of ULTRAMAN exploring the motion-capture process.
Based on the manga written by Eiichi Shimizu and illustrated by Tomohiro Shimoguchi, ULTRAMAN is directed by Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki and features animation production by Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS. The series will stream on Netflix in worldwide markets beginning on April 01, 2019. Netflix describes the story of ULTRAMAN as follows:
