Tokyo Ghoul Manga Author Draws Jacket Illustrations for Japanese Guitarist MIYAVI's New Album

"Samurai Guitarist"'s highly-anticipated 11th album "NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO" hits stores July 24

Japanese musician MIYAVI, nicknamed the "Samurai Guitarist" worldwide, has revealed two jacket images for his new album "NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO" to be released on July 24, 2019. The illustrations are drawn by manga artist Sui Ishida, best known for his internationally popular series Tokyo Ghoul. As reported, Ishida previously drew the CD jacket illustrations for the OP and ED theme songs for the TV anime Tokyo Ghoul:re in the spring of 2018.

 

"NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO" is MIYAVI's first original album in three years since "Fire Bird" released in August 2016. The album's UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE limited set (8,640 yen) comes with a T-shirt printed with the first press limited edition illustration.
