Upcoming adaptation based on manga by Osora hits Japanese TV on July 07, 2019

Pudding, alpacas, flashbang grenades, giant eggs, and kaiju-sized pandas are all the name of the game in a baffling new preview video for The Ones Within (known as Naka no Hito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] in Japan), an upcoming TV anime based on the manga by Osora about a group of young streaming personalities who are forced to participate in life-or-death challenges for the pleasure of the viewing audience.



The story of The Ones Within is described as follows:


Akatsuki Iride is a popular live streamer for the free-to-play game “The Ones Within-Genome”. But what was once fantasy quickly becomes his and 7 others’ reality when they’re transported to the game world against their will. View count matters more than ever before as millions watch them try to complete various high-risk challenges. Only the best will survive in this land that’s always live!

The Ones Within is directed by Shin Ōnuma and features animation production by SILVER LINK.. The series will broadcast in Japan on AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 on July 07, 2019, with an additional broadcast to follow on TV Aichi beginning on July 09, 2019. The Ones Within will also stream on Funimation as part of their Summer 2019 simulcast lineup.
