At the press conference, Asano shared an anecdote about how he would feel "invincible" when he was in full costume and make-up for the character of Hogun in the Thor movies, even if he was only walking from the dressing room to the sets. He also recounted how as a child he was impressed by the muscular physiques of DC Comics heroes such as Superman and Batman. Asano related that he used to collect figures of these heroes as a kid, and as an adult he still enjoys drawing them and imitating their style.
