Grand Summoners dev NextNinja handles new Touhou Project game
A new entry in the ever-expanding Touhou Project series is on the way to a very excited audience soon. The latest title is a smartphone RPG called Touhou LostWord, which is coming to iOS and Android devices from Good Smile Company and Grand Summoners developers NextNinja.
While Touhou LostWord won't be canon to ZUN's Touhou franchise, it will feature the full Touhou Project worldview and characters. The release date has yet to be decided, but pre-registration is live in Japan on the official website and there's a new Twitter account to go along with it.
Check out the first key visual by Rote Yumeno along with some character art:
As the press release says, "For every 10,000 users pre-registered, Touhou LostWord players will receive valuable and rare items, including a playable “Reimu Hakurei“ unit."
The official Twitter is also giving away a ¥5,000 Amazon gift card every day to those who follow the account and retweet the promo video tweet from July 19.
