Netflix Original Anime Aggretsuko Rages On In Season 3

Rareko and Fanworks continue the corporate adventures of a young red panda office lady and her death metal karaoke

Aggretsuko unleashes her frustrations with a bout of death metal voice karaoke.

You can't keep a good red panda down, although the corporate work environment certainly tries in Aggretsuko (known in Japan as "Aggressive Retsuko"), a Netflix original anime based on the Sanrio mascot character, which will be returning for a third season in the near future. The new season was announced at the 20th annual Taiwan Comic Exhibition, which ran from August 01 - 05, 2019, in Taipei, Taiwan.

Netflix describes the story of Aggretsuko as follows: Frustrated with her thankless office job, Retsuko the Red Panda copes with her daily struggles by belting out death metal karaoke after work.

Aggretsuko sings death metal karaoke among the ruins of her trading firm's corporate office.

Aggretsuko Season 3 is directed by Rareko and features animation production by Fanworks. The first two seasons of the series as well as the anime Christmas special are currently available via streaming on Netflix. The release date for Season 3 has not yet been revealed.
