Evil Wears a Fresh Face in Kabukicho Sherlock TV Anime Character PV
Production I.G transplants Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's characters to modern Japan in October of 2019

James Moriarty, the "Napoleon of Crime", is a fresh-faced kid in a new character PV for Kabukicho Sherlock, an upcoming original TV anime that re-imagines the characters from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic detective novels as a band of private detectives working at the margins of the nightlife culture in modern day Tokyo.
Set in modern day Kabukicho in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, Kabukicho Sherlock follows the comedic, mysterious, and dramatic adventures of a ragtag band of detectives as they live together in a tenement above Mrs. Hudson's bar in the red light district and attempt to solve an unusual string of killings known as the "Jack the Ripper Murders".
Kabukicho Sherlock is directed by Ai Yoshimura and features animation production by Production I.G. The series will broadcast in Japan on Fridays during the 25:55 time slot (actually at 1:55am JST on Saturday morning) as part of the Mainichi Broadcasting System / Tokyo Broadcasting System "Animeism" programming block beginning on October 11, 2019.
