New trailer shows Deku and Bakugo having a lot of guts, tickets go on sale today in Japan
Excitement builds as it’s only a few more months until My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Heroes: Rising smashes its way onto Japanese cinema screens. To celebrate the launch of the first tickets going on sale for the film – with the first 60,000 tickets to get three clear files featuring newly-drawn visuals of Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki – the official My Hero Academia Twitter account released a full trailer for the upcoming anime film.
The above trailer shows all 20 classmates from class 1-A heading to an island to protect the people of the island, including a brother and sister who love heroes, from the “greatest villain” Nine. Musical actor Yoshio Inoue will be voicing Nine and actress Mio Imada will be voicing his attendant Slice. Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the manga, has said that this is likely the last My Hero Academia film, and serves as a general supervisor for the film.
My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Heroes: Rising is be released in Japanese cinemas on December 20, with the first million people getting a specially made manga for the film by Horikoshi. My Hero Academia season 4 will be launching on Crunchyroll just after it airs in Japan on October 12.
