Main Cast Suits Up for Competition in Chidori RSC TV Anime Teaser
Adaptation based on 4-panel sports comic by Akki Sarumi will be distributed by Sentai Filmworks

Beam rifle competitions are serious business in a light-hearted teaser trailer for Chidori RSC (known as Rifle is Beautiful in Japan), an upcoming TV anime based on the humorous 4-panel sports manga by Akka Sarumi about a quartet of high school girls who participate in the physically taxing activity of competitive laser rifle target shooting.
The original Rifle is Beautiful manga is serialized in Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump digital manga magazine. Sentai Filmworks describes the story of the Chidori RSC TV anime as follows:
Hikari Kokura has a passion for competitive sharpshooting! To hone her skills, she enrolls at Chidori High School with the hope of joining their light beam rifle shooting club. Unfortunately for Hikari, the club has been disbanded due to lack of interest. Now it’s up to Hikari to recruit fellow students to re-energize the ranks and save the club. Otherwise, she’ll have to kiss her dreams of being the best markswoman around goodbye.
Chidori RSC is directed by Masanori Takahashi and features animation production by Studio 3Hz. The series will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto beginning on October 13, 2019, and an additional broadcast on BS11 has also been announced. Chidori RSC will also be digitally distributed on select platforms and released on home video by Sentai Filmworks.
