Rugby Boys Get Physical in New Trailer for number24 TV Anime
New key visual revealed for upcoming original sports anime director Shigeru Kimiya and animation studio PRA

The 2019 Rugby World Cup may be over, but rugby-fever continues to sweep Japan, and now a new key visual and a new teaser trailer have been revealed for number24, an upcoming original TV anime about a group of young men who form a rugby team at Kansai University.
The story of number24 follows a patchwork group of five young men who join forces to play rugby in the Kansai University rugby league: Natsusa Yuzuki, an ace player who is sidelined from playing rugby due to certain circumstances when he enters college; Ibuki Ueoka, a senior who is looking to put rugby behind him; Yasunari Tsuru, a younger student who doesn't get along with Natsusa; Yuu Mashiro, a younger student who looks up to Natsusa; and Seiichiro Shingyouji, Natsusa's childhood friend.
number24 is directed by Shigeru Kimiya and features animation production by PRA. The series will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX and other stations beginning in January of 2020.
