Fairy Tail RPG Delayed Until the End of July Around the World

Gust cites the impact of COVID-19 on development

We were just a little over a month away from the planned June 25 launch of the Fairy Tail RPG, but Gust's take on Hiro Mashima's series will need to cook a little longer. Koei Tecmo and Gust announced a delay that pushes the RPG to late July around the world, citing "the ever-changing world disrupted by COVID-19" as the reason for postponement. 


Fairy Tail will now hit PS4, Switch, and PC in Japan and Europe on July 30, followed by North America on July 31. Here's the full statement:
