Akari Kito (Mädchen): "I hope you'll be able to enjoy watching the show through the end!"
The official website for Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck, the upcoming second season of the reboot TV anime adaptation of Yoshinobu Akita's fantasy light novel series Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi / Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, has released a teaser visual and a 50-second first PV for its January 2021 premiere in Japan. The novel's seventh volume "Waga Ishi wo Tsutaeyo Maou" (Pass on my dying wish, the Demon King), on which the second season's story will be based, was published in Japan just 24 years ago, on August 20, 1996.
Along with the regular characters including the protagonist Orphen, the visual and the clip introduce a new character Mädchen Amick, a swordswoman of a bandit gang, voiced by Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba).
Message from Showtaro Morikubo (Orphen):
"Good to see you again-!! For Orphen and his pals, and for fans of the series. This season is going to be an agonizing journey for Orphen. What's more, we're going to find out what exactly Orphen and his team are up against. We, as well as the new cast members who have joined, are living the world of Orphen to the fullest, so we hope you'll be able to enjoy the show."
Message from Akari Kito (Mädchen Amick):
"Mädchen is a woman with great fighting skills, and although she seems cool and brave at first glance, she has a companionable and kind nature. I hope you'll be able to enjoy watching the show through the end to find out how she meets and interacts with Orphen and others!"
