Thunderbolt Fantasy Season 3 Hits Airwaves in Japan in April of 2021

Japanese / Taiwanese heroic martial arts puppet series returns to Japanese TV after an initial delay

Lang Wu Yao's heavenly performance is interrupted by a raid from the Imperial police in a scene from the Thunderbolt Fantasy -Bewitching Melody of the West- theatrical film.

Great news for fans of glove puppetry and martial arts mayhem: after initially being delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the third season of Thunderbolt Fantasy - a Japanese / Taiwanese co-production featuring the combined talents of Pili International Multimedia, Nitroplus, and Good Smile Company - is back on track and will broadcast in Japan beginning in April of 2021.

Additionally, a new key visual for the series (above) was published along with the announcement to the official Thunderbolt Fantasy Twitter feed. The new key visual features new faces as well as fan-favorite recurring characters (such as Dan Fei, Shang Bu Huan, and Lin Xue Ya) from the previous seasons of Thunderbolt Fantasy.
