Adaptation based on isekai fantasy light novel series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan in 2021
Two additional character settings have been published for Mystical Spirit Chronicles (known as Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles in Japan), an upcoming TV anime based on the series of isekai fantasy light novels written by Yuri Kitayama and illustrated by Riv about a university student who reincarnates with phenomenal magical powers after his first life is tragically cut short. The new character settings include:
Latifa (CV: Tomori Kusonoki).
And Miharu Ayase (CV: Sayaka Harada).
The original Mystical Spirit Chronicles light novels are published in Japan by Hobby Japan under their HJ Bunko imprint, and an English language adaptation of the series is also available from j-novel club, who describe the story of the series as follows:
Meet Rio: a callous orphaned boy living in the slums. At only 7-years-old, he realizes he’s actually the reincarnation of Haruto Amakawa, a Japanese university student with a tragic past. While still reeling from this shocking epiphany, Rio also comes to learn that he possesses extremely potent magical abilities and uses his new powers to solve the kidnapping case of a little girl. His good deed is acknowledged, and he’s rewarded by being enrolled into… a prestigious academy for noble children...?
Mythical Spirit Chronicles is directed by Osamu Yamazaki and features animation production by TMS Entertainment. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan in 2021.
