Broadcast Details Revealed for Wonder Egg Priority TV Anime Episode

Hour-long broadcast concludes the story of original anime production from the Winter 2021 season

Some quick news for all you fans of Wonder Egg Priority: the Japanese broadcast details have been revealed for the upcoming special, 1 hour length episode that will bring a conclusion to the original TV anime series that initially ran during the winter season of 2021. The special episode will broadcast as follows:


  • Nippon TV: from 25:34 - 26:34 on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
  • Chūkyō Television Broadcasting: from 25:37 - 26:37 on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
  • Fukuoka Broadcasting Corporation: from 26:40 - 27:40 on Thursday, July 01, 2021.
  • Miyagi Television Broadcasting: from 25:05 -  26:05 on Saturday, July 03, 2021.
  • Aomori Broadcasting Corporation: from 24:54 - 25:54 on Thursday, July 08, 2021.
  • Sapporo Television Broadcasting: from 26:35 - 27:35 on Monday, July 18, 2021.
  • Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation: scheduled to be broadcast during the late night hours in July of 2021.


The special episode will also be streamed in Japan on the Hulu and d Anime Store websites beginning at 24:00 on June 29, 2021. Also, please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early morning programming as late night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:34 time slot on Tuesday evening is actually on Wednesday morning at 1:34am JST.



Funimation describes the story of Wonder Egg Priority as follows:


This is the story of Ai, an introverted girl whose fate is forever changed when she acquires a mysterious “Wonder Egg” from a deserted arcade. That night, her dreams blend into reality, and as other girls obtain their own Wonder Eggs, Ai discovers new friends—and the magic within herself.


Ai examines an egg while her friends lay on the grass during a sunny day in a key visual for the Wonder Egg Priority TV anime.

Wonder Egg Priority is directed by Shin Wakabayashi and features animation production by CloverWorks. The series is streamed in the United States by Funimation.
