The updated Evangelion 3.0+1.01 begins screening in Japan on June 12
It was announced a few days ago that the "final" Evangelion anime film, Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time, would be getting a rebuilt updated "3.0+1.01" version of the movie for its final days in theaters in Japan. To celebrate the screenings, a new poster was released based on the two original designs with updated colors and a new tagline for the film in English.

The new version of the English poster now has the line "Good bye, all of EVANGELION" rather than the old phrase "Bye-bye, all of EVANGELION." It was once again illustrated by animation director Atsushi Nishigori, using the same characters as the last poster.
Last poster (in Japanese):
Evangelion 3.0+1.0 finally opened in Japan after being delayed twice due to the coronavirus pandemic on March 8, breaking franchise records on the first day and eventually becoming the highest-grossing film in the franchise in Japan in less than a month, then the highest-grossing worldwide in 35 days. It is the longest film in the franchise (not including compilations or special screenings). An updated version of the film, Evangelion 3.0+1.01, will be released in Japanese theaters on June 12. There is no word yet on an international release of the film.
