JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Event to Deliver More Info on August 8

Event will be free to stream on the Warner Bros. Japan Anime YouTube channel

Stone Ocean

Info on the hotly-anticipated JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean TV anime has been scant since the initial announcement back in April, but something new is on the way this August. As revealed at the end of today's Anime Expo Lite panel, a special online event is on the way on August 8, and the video will be free to watch on the Warner Bros. Japan Anime YouTube channel with English subtitles.

All we know about this one is that, as the announcement says, it will be "filled with updates."

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Stone Ocean follows Jolyne Cujoh as she goes to prison for a crime she didn't commit, set 10 years after events of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. The series, created by Hirohiko Araki, ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from January 1, 2000, to April 21, 2003, and was collected into 17 volumes.

You can catch the first five parts of David Production's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime on Crunchyroll.
