Komi Can't Communicate TV Anime Posts 2nd PV featuring OP & ED Theme Songs

The highly-anticipated adaptation is set to premiere on October 6

The official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Tomohito Oda's romantic comedy manga Komi Can't Communicate has started streaming a two-minute second PV featuring its OP theme song "Cinderella" by the three-member rock band Cider Girl and ED theme song "Hikare Inochi" (Shine, Life) by the piano vocal duo Kitri.

Cider Girl is a rock band that made their major debut in June 2017, of which the original manga author, Tomohito Oda, is a big fan. The band has already collaborated with the manga for its 20th tankobon volume's anniversary video posted in February 2021.

A message from the band writes, "Congratulations on the anime adaptation! We were very happy when they asked us, Cider Girl, to perform the theme song. We created this song while thinking about the euphoric worldview of Komi-san, Tadano-kun, and other characters. We hope that we were able to help the anime in some small way." The song will be digitally released on October 8, 2021.

As reported, Kitri provides two ED theme songs for the anime - "Sympathy" for its first episode, and "Hikare Inochi" for its subsequent episodes.
