The official Attack on Titan Twitter announced tonight that Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, the next chapter of the final season of the mega-popular adaptation of the manga by Hajime Isayama, will start on Japanese TV on January 9 at 24:05 with episode 76. The first trailer for the next part of the Final Season was released to coincide with the announcement.

Ahead of the broadcast, NHK-G will be broadcasting 6 Attack on Titan compilation specials that will summarize all 75 episodes of the TV anime series that have been released so far, as well the five previously released OVAs "Wall Sina, Goodbye Parts 1 and 2", "Attack on Titan: No Regrets Parts 1 and 2", and "Lost in the cruel world." The specials will air from October 24 in the same time frame as Final Season Part 2 will in January. The OVAs are from the perspectives of Levi, Annie, and Mikasa which will be interwoven into the specials when they take place in the story. New animation in the compilation specials will be animated at MAPPA. The broadcast dates for the first four specials and all the OVAs are below, with the 5th and 6th to be announced later.





Part 1 of Attack on Titan Final Season streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan on NHK-G from December 2020 to March 2021, with part 2 premiering on NHK-G on January 9 at 24:05 (effectively January 10 at 12:05 AM). The cast and staff from the Final Season Part 1 are set to return at MAPPA.
