The series is now going beyond revenge!
At the Zombie Land Saga LIVE ~Franchouchou Saga yo Tomoni Waite Kure~ event today in Japan, it was announced that the franchise has a film in production. Accompanying the announcement was a live-action teaser trailer, titled "Zombie naki Tatakai Saga Fukushu-hen (A Battle Without Zombies: Saga Revenge arc)", and visual that, in the most ZOMBIE LAND SAGA-way, is confusing and fun featuring the actors Hakuryu and Kunio Murai, both of whom hail from Saga prefecture.
Besides the above, details on the upcoming film are scarce, such as the format it'll be released in, the contents, and even when on the Saga timeline it'll occur. To get up to speed with the series, you can watch both seasons of the ZOMBIE LAND SAGA right here on Crunchyroll, which describes the anime as such:
A typical morning. The usual music. Their normal lives. The peace these seven girls experience will suddenly be destroyed. By the living dead... zombies. A reality that they never wanted a part of, an amazing and terrifying zombie world. They all share one wish: "We want to live." These girls will struggle through this saga, in order to achieve a miracle. MAPPA, Avex Pictures, and Cygames team up to bring you a juicy, 100% original anime. A timeless shocker for all audiences, a brand new style of zombie anime, will soon rise.
