Demon Slayer’s Zenitsu VA Hiro Shimono Returns to Work After Contracting COVID-19 a 2nd Time

The voice actor has been cleared to work by his local health center

The agency for Hiro Shimono, who is best known for voicing Zenitsu in Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba, as well as Connie in Attack on Titan and Dabi in My Hero Academia, announced today that the voice actor has been cleared by his local health center in accordance with the end of medical treatment criteria set by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to return to work after coming down with COVID-19 a second time. 


Shimono tested positive for the disease again on February 2 after being a close contact with another who had tested positive. He had previously had COVID-19 in July 2021.

Shimono is the second Demon Slayer voice actor cleared to return to work his week after Tanjiro's voice actor Natsuki Hanae also contracted COVID-19 and completed his treatment yesterday and returned to work.
