World Trigger Stage Play to Return in August 2022 with Its 2nd Show "Large-Scale Invasion Arc"

The four main cast members are confirmed to return



It is announced today that the second show of the stage play adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara's sci-fi action manga World Trigger, entitled World Trigger the Stage: Large-Scale Invasion Arc, is set to be performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo from August 5 to 14, 2022, and at the Kyoto-Gekijo theater in Kyoto from August 19 to 21. Its story is based on the manga's fourth arc of the same name.


The first show, World Trigger the Stage was performed at the same venue in Tokyo from November 19 to 28, 2021, then at Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka from December 2 to 5. The first show's writer-director Norihito Nakayashiki (Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!!) will return in the same positions. He says, "In the next installment, the Border members will finally unite their hearts to face the mighty invaders from the nearby world. A great battle that will truly test the true value of Border! With a new cast members, we hope to show you an even more exciting and profound world!"


The four main cast members are also confirmed to return - Keisuke Ueda as the protagonist Yuuma Kuga, Takuya Mizoguchi as Osamu Mikumo, Arisa Sonohara as Chika Amatori, and Kensuke Takahashi as Yuichi Jin.
