Not the same but can't explain
To preface this, I love digimon, I still occasionally go back and rewatch the original series and tamers but this has just failed to catch my attention in any way shape or form.

The first three episodes feel less like the opening for an anime, and more like they took a movie concept and cut it down to fit. I thought I'd give episode 4 a chance since they were finally in the digital world but ...

Expected less, but it's a positive surprise !
If you are fixed to the first old season, you will be thrown into a new world with a new story. But, other than expected, it's a great start and it's really good! The story line changed a lot and it's not as it used to be. But the style is the same tho. After all it all makes more sense now! I am looking forward to the next episodes and meanwhile I am still suffering of the goosebumps ...

    An insane surprise to Digimon!
Ever since my major disappointment with Digimon Adventure Tri. I sort of cringed when I heard they were making ANOTHER anime based on Adventure. I saw the trailer and saw that they upped the animation budget, but still thought they were just gonna milk it.

I have never been so happy to be wrong. There was definitely put love into this reboot. And because characters are slowly getting introduced ...

    Not valued as an ensemble
Having tried the episodes that have been placed up so far I can say that, although there are six core characters, only two seem to be valued. If it's not apparent who these characters are then a watch of the opening and closing credits makes it blindingly obvious that they only wish to focus on Taichi and Yamato. To prove this further only Agumon and Gabumon get proper shinka scenes, where most of ...

    Loving the remastered version
I really liked the new version of the series. I watched all of the older ones, including the 6x TRIs continuiation of the story. This remaster is amazing. I love the new graphics, removing the unnecessary "pokemon-like-moments", it's very powerful and emotional story transceded immediately to the save the world level. Awesumsauce.

  • Left feeling disappointed
I loved Digimon alway thought it was better then Pokemon and was like a few left a little disappointed by Tri, so when I heard about a remake I couldn't wait. Oh how mistaken I was, so far it falls so short of the original it might as well be Digimon Frontier. Animation is poor goes into weird over sized head chibi when far away from the charracters and little to no depth to the art, you can ...

  • A remake done Right.
The title say it all. It is a remake, and alot was removed / changed, but it is still a freaking good show. The music is good, the animation is good, the voice acting is good and there's a lot of new (For me at least) digimon. My only problem is for the lack of Demidevimon. He should be the main freaking hero. Also it's a little bit too centered toward Agumon / Gabumon. Often they digvolve without ...
