    An unintentional Parody.
If your only goal is to find a main character you can fantasise about being, and you love the idea of having an harem of girls finding you arousing or complimenting you for the super powers god gave you, then great. If you enjoy every character having the mental depth of a 10 year old, then also great, hey if you're a kid that's all dandy.

But if you're not a kid, and you don't like characters ...

I understand why there are mixed reviews, but sometimes you gotta see what the series is intended to be
I can understand why the series has such mixed reviews.
It's just another Issekai show. Kirito #1008 finds himself in a parallel fantasy world, is overpowered... but wait... this time ... he has a PHONE! (though so did Subaru in Re:Zero).

But that's the thing. This show isn't claiming to be a completely original idea.
It's not even trying to be taken so seriously, like it needs to be some ...

It's Good Enough. If you like Harems.
If you like Overpowered Main Character with a harem of girls who sincerely love on him and the romance side actually comes to somehting you'll get enjoyment here. There's just not much depth to the story or characters. There's no real over-arcing plot, more just funsie individual adventures. I honestly struggled to remember lots of the characters names since alot of them don't have all that much ...

    Very Entertaining Show
After a freak accident involving some lightning winds up zapping him dead, 15-year-old Mochizuki Touya wakes up to find himself face-to-face with God. “I am afraid to say that I have made a bit of a blunder...” laments the old coot. But all is not lost! God says that he can reincarnate Touya into a world of fantasy, and as a bonus, he gets to bring his smartphone along with! So begins Touya's ...

    Harem for 10 year olds.
This isnt a bad anime, but I couldnt call it really good either. Its really just a harem for kids, ripping bits from here and there to cobble a barely serviceable story together, entertaining enough to watch through, if you have already seen everything else good and want a new light ecchi harem to watch.
The MC is a bland and 100% OP character who has practically every superpower you can imagine ...

    Suprisingly very good.
Very fun, lighthearted anime that you won't need to pay much attention to while watching yet still understand what's going on. And there are plenty of cute girls present, so watching their adventures and relationships develop with Touya is interesting, however people who are looking for serious anime won't enjoy.

An Attempt which done right could be great but good try.
I like the OP mc anime genre however I think if you slowed the pace alittle in terms with power progression and status, as well as, giving the mc a progressive goal and making the show slightly less harem based the show could be even better. Death March To A Parallel World is also trying to attempt this in a similar way however the MC in that has a goal which the viewer has determined is to defeat ...

  • its not my type but its ok
It is just like any fantasy adventure plot you died and travel to a different world and the protagonist is overpowered as heck.
But wait he has a phone? (which is kinda useless)
and to make it super spicy the added the sweet sweet harem plot device to make it not my type of anime.
If you like harems and overpower like ppl watch it
If you just wanna watch it for the cringe do it
    it ...

    Starts alright but..
The anime starts off pretty cool, but within four episodes devolves into the tired old formula of "oblivious betamale with harem who never says no and is abused by the girls". Just once, can we have a nice guy who isn't a pushover with women? Srsly..
