Creepy and startling yet not scary
Well, there isn't much shallow gore or prolonged or strong suspense here, yet the show achieves to make that excruciatingly slow, ultimately creepy impression. Perhaps it simply failed to induce fear or it simply isn't meant to be emotionally terrifying but to be intellectually and culturally startling? Perhaps it's not about fear, just about creepiness without cringe, a visual, intellectual yet ...

    Interesting, was surprised.
I've read a lot of Junji Ito (Possibly all, but I can't be sure), I was surprised how well they were able to convery the creepiness but I think the selection of stories they decided to animate were lacking a little. There are much weirder and stranger strories they could have chose from! But even so, I was delighted to see one of my favourite writers with an animated collection!

Amazing. The actual plot and story is scary. Not the loud jumpscares
It's not gory or that scary however the tension is incredible. All the different stories gave me an uneasy feeling. Never experienced any horror like this, which is why I love it so much. It's so different from boring same old cliches. It gives the audience a horror experience. The amount of times i felt scared and it wasn't because of loud noisy scare jumps. The stories itself was scary. I ...

  • It’s not perfect but it’s pretty great
The collection is an exhibition of some of Junji Ito’s short stories. • Creepiness Approved By Me
I have been inspired to go and buy Junji Ito's work after this viewing (binge watched the series.)
The Art is interesting , Souichi definitely stands out the little creepy curse kid and found myseIf laughing out loud. I did find him the showcase character after Tomie.

I wouldn't say this is Horror in some sense of the word ,Bizarre, skin crawling and creepy are definitely top words coming to ...

This is supposed to be scary?
I've seen episodes 1-3 and I can only laugh about this so called "horror" show. It overall has "creepy" themes. However every story seems to be so plain and obvious in their attempts at horror, that I can only laugh about them.

THis is just a waste of time.
