  • Historically accurate... somewhat
    The idea behind an anime like this is very intriguing. It uses real historical Japanese battleships and based on what weaponry they had, they gave to the girls, so for me, it was pretty funny to look up the real ships and compare then like, spoiler, how Shimakaze was a one-off battleship or Yamato who was also a one-off super destroyer.     Interesting Concept, Not Perfect Though.
    This particular anime is different, i am not really familiar with the concept of personifying ships into humans but i guess if you can get used to that its acceptable. The overall story was a bit vague and it reminded me a lot of the Love Live! where was there absolutely no male humans in sight for the entire anime.     Poor attempt at something new
    This anime really feels like the creators were struggling to find an excuse to turn girls into battleships and ended failing at both story and action. The action has no "Cool Factor" since the execution of being a battleship involves some pegged on parts and the story is basically the bottom of the barrel.
