    Well, well. I'm impressed!!
Let me start by stating that I've probably only been to a handful of basketball games in my entire life. Twice to cheer on a good friend, and once annually when I was in high school when it was mandatory to go watch the boys' game. Can't say I've ever been highly interested nor understood the game more than the basic concepts (ball goes in hoop, ya know?). Basketball has never really interested me ...

Action Basketball Has Never Felt So Intense.
Kuroko is a very unique character, the mysterious and quiet character is rarely seen as a protagonist in anime; this is a very high point that makes this anime stand out.

Watching Kuroko and his team play together shows an honest bond between them and basketball, they want to be the best and they push eachother along the way. This is easily an anime of persistence; all the characters will push ...

    A Credit to All Anime
A well animated anime with a solid plotline but has some minor pacing issues in the first season. However, the pacing issues are really insignificant, and I didn't really notice them until the second season (where the pacing just blew me away). Love the relationships between the characters and the mix of light-heartedness and ultra serious modes it switches between. Overall a great anime which is ...

Surprisingly intense for a sports anime!
Kuroko no Basuke or Kuroko's Basketball is as it sounds, an anime about Basketball. Now, before you turn off this anime thinking "I'm not sporty" or "I hate watching Basketball" I strongly recommend you try Kuroko no Basuke, I myself was sceptical at first having only ever really liked Football (Soccer for you Americans reading this) but soon fell in love with the series. Also, if you're the type ...

The perfect transition into other genres
As the title suggests a perfect show to remove those new to anime to sticking to the generic action fighting genera (e.g. bleach) and consider the wider variety of genres on offer. It does this through superb animation an intriguing character set that is both believable and also likeable and also the perfect balance between action and the mixture of comedy and sport that is its own recipe. well ...

    Best sport-related anime ever
    Hello everyone!

As you can see from the rating which I gave to this anime (5/5), I think this is the best sport-related anime in existence so far. I watched a lot of anime related to sport: Inazuma elevev, Haikyuu!!!, Ace of the diamond and many many others so my opinion in this topic is reasonable and more objective than subjective.

The reasons why I gave this show 5 out of 5 ...

    Awesome sports anime
Has everything you need in a shounen anime. Its got the intense rivalry, strong friendship between the main cast, a strong supporting cast (Generation of Miracles), and of course tragic backstories which fuel the protagonist's goals.

If you enjoyed Haikyuu then you will love this. Highly recommend for any shounen fan.

    Basketball Overdrive
Being one of my favourite sports, I was most interested to see how Basketball would be translated to an Anime Series.

You follow the story of Kuroko and his new friend Kagami who start off their first year of high school by joining the little known Seirin basketball club with the goal of becoming the best in Japan.

As the plot progresses they find themselves facing new challenges along the ...

5 Stars - An Incredible Anime
I finished this anime a while ago but find myself thinking about it quite a lot. This anime alone got me into the whole sports genre of anime and I hate sports. To be honest, at first, I didn't have high expectations for this, I mean, it's an anime about basketball, what could be good about that? Well, not only is this good but it's one of the best! There's outstanding character development, a ...
