  • I didn't expect it to be as good as it is
At first it seems like your usual romance anime with a love triangle and it builds a beautiful story from there. The sea was deeper than I thought it was on this one. I thought the characters were pretty well written as well. I would recommend it to friends.

  • Teen romance/drama, with a hint of fantasy.
Excellent series. The one thing that probably stands out the most is it's animation. PA Works always deliver on the quality. I think the characters are very interesting and the way they end the first season and start the second one is both unique and intriguing. The music is also fantastic, I listen to the OST on a regular basis.

If you like Little Busters!, Clannad or AnoHana, then this will ...

  • Beautiful anime with a beautiful meaning.
This gem is definitely in my top 5.
This is probably the first anime I watched of its genre. So, even if its kinda like a nostalgic love being it my first one, I found this anime to be a great watch and very touching.
The animation is stunning. Enough said. Trust me.
Loved all the characters and thought they all received a decent amount of screen time. You can relate to the characters in one ...

  • More than just romance
This is an extremely captivating story that doesn't fail to hit the right note in your heart on every episode, while the characters could be classified as classical Archetypes they were still extremely memorable and more than anything felt really well developed when facing their problems.

Nagi no Asukara takes Romance beyond what at least I have seen before, and it does it in a very subtle and ...

  • Both beautiful and emotional.
The first thing I noticed about Nagi no Asukara is it's amazing art style. Shioshishio, the city under the sea is a such a wonderfully unique place it's a shame we didn't get to spend more time there! But even above the surface is a world of beauty, too.

The story will grip you from the beginning with lovable characters that develop and mature as the series progresses and the stories of love ...

[Spoiler-free long review] A labour of love that deserves its ample recognition.
Don't be dissuaded by the immaturity of the characters upon a first glance: despite their seeming like an annoying bunch of teenagers, things get better. We have Hikari, who starts at a low point but grows significantly throughout the show, while there are several other characters (Tsumugu, Kaname, Sayu) whose initially auxiliary appearance gives way for their gradual blossoming. In fact, I think ...

    Amazing!!! ^-^ lovee it
I LOVE IT! It made me cry a lot. Like seriously...I didn't regret watching this series. Manaka and Miuna are loving Hikari (like triangle love?) and it's very addictive since this series is trying to make it dramatic! (in a good way) I WUV THIS! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE! ^0^
