  • Japanese Cable Anime TV Channels Animax and Kids Station Goes Free For Kids At Home Due to Coronavirus Crisis

    Kids TV anime series Chibi Maruko-chan releases 100 episodes on YouTube

    Earlier this week, to curb the boredom children might feel being stuck at home due to the coronavirus, the companies that publish Weekly Shonen Jump and Weekly Shonen Sunday announced that their back issues from 2020 would be released online. To add to that, now, Japanese cable anime TV channels Animax and Kids Station announced that they would be available for free to everyone in Japan until March 27. More details after the jump!

Today, multimedia company Bushiroad canceled all hosted events up until March 18, the ANIMAX MUSIX NEXTAGE was canceled and the 14th Annual Seiyu Awards, scheduled for March 7, would be limiting attendance, with the after-show reception canceled.     Jin Tamamura (A Sister's All You Need) has served as director for Animax's 20th anniversary TV anime

    The official Twitter for the ongoing TV anime Akanesasu Shojo/The Girl in Twilight has posted a new key visual featuring its protagonist girl Asuka Tsuchimiya newly drawn by original character designer Masakazu Katsura. He is best known for his internationally popular manga series Video Girl, DNA², I''s, and his character design works for the Tiger & Bunny anime series. Check out his latest art after the jump.
