As the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion rebroadcast continues for the 15th anniversary broadcast of the series, it was announced today that for the next cour, Eir Aoi and Cö Shu Nie will be taking over the reigns of singing the new opening and ending theme songs, replacing the ones that aired with the TV anime originally with brand new animation. As part of its 15th anniversary project, the TV anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion has been rebroadcast in Japan with brand new OP/ED movies and songs since October 1, 2021. TK from Ling tosite sigure released the new ED song "will-ill" on October 13, then posted its music video on YouTube last night. Watch the clip that boldly uses CG visuals after the jump!
It's time to pour one out for "Jibun wo!" as the iconic opening from Code Geass will be replaced for the 15th anniversary broadcast of the series this October in Japan. Don't worry though, the song will still play in our hearts and karaoke boxes. Details after the jump!
Two years after its initial theatrical run in Japan, the feature film Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection will be screened in MX4D and 4DX theaters across Japan from January 29, 2021.
