  • "Metal Gear Solid V" Release Date Confirmed, Special Editions Detailed

    Game will be available in both Day 1 Edition and limited Collector's Edition

    Though everyone got early wind of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's release date, Konami had some more details to announce this morning. As revealed yesterday, Metal Gear Solid V hits PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One worldwide on September 1, with a Steam release to follow on September 15.     IGN video leak jumps the gun in announcing release date.

    It's down now, but earlier today there was a video leak at IGN, jumping the gun with a Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date announcement. According to the video, Hideo Kojima's latest entry is due out worldwide on September 1. More after the jump.

    Following November's Venom Snake and next month's Skull Face, Square Enix is continuing to introduce the cast of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to their line of Play Arts Kai figures with Quiet, now available for order ahead of a May release. The 26cm posable figure sells for 10,584yen with alternate head, sniper rifle, knife, hand gun and three optional hand parts. Get a look after the jump.
