Tokyo-based anime planning company GENCO has released sample photos of its two new character figures for the upcoming Wonder Festival 2018 event: 1/7 scale Super Sonico in the costume of Hestia (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) and 1/7 scale Karen Kujo Poppun Cheer Girl ver. Nitro+ music mascot Super Sonco recently turned 10 years old, and maybe she's starting to show her age (in the accelerated pop culture years). This weekend, at the Wonder Festival figure event (for the occasion, they figure that Sonico has inspired 138 figure releases), Super Sonico was cosplayed by "celebrity" Mika Kano, who posed as the character with a Lexus LC hybrid car itasha.
Super Sonico was previously revealed as a playable character for Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash, and her DLC now officially available in Japan. You can see her in action in the somewhat NSFW video after the jump, along with a peek at the Japanese weapon set and new costumes that are also among the new DLC options.
Last Season, she was Konosuba's Megumin. This season, Super Sonico is getting her fantasy on again, cosplaying as Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? goddess Hestia. Original character designer Tsuji Santa provides the art of Soni-gumin's giant toad encounter, with B2 sized item for 3,000yen ahead of a March 23 release.
