It has been confirmed that Ichijinsha will release 30-year-old manga artist Namori's yet-titled second art collection book in Japan on August 2, 2018, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary for her long-running yuri comedy series Yuruyuri. In an announcement that is sure to delight the fans, a new original animation video has been announced for YuruYuri, the anime adaptation based on Namori's everyday life comedy manga. Hit the jump to learn the details.
Nanamori-chu Goraku-bu (The Nanamori Middle School Amusement Club) was formed by the four main voice actresses of the Yuruyuri anime series: Shiori Mikami (Akari Akaza), Yuka Ohtsubo (Kyoko Toshino), Minami Tsuda (Yui Funami), and Rumi Ohkubo (Chinatsu Yoshikawa), to perform its themes songs in 2011. The anime's official Twitter posted their comments for the anime and unit's seventh anniversary.
As they prepare to release the February issue this week, Dengeki G's Magazine has previewed the content of their March issue, due January 30th. Among the highlights is the promise of a look at a new anime project which will feature original character designs by Namori, best known as the manga author for anime-adapted YuruYuri. As the fans know, September 7 was the birthday of Sakurako Ohmuro, one of the main characters of Namori's yuri comedy manga series Yuruyuri. To celebrate it, the author posted a special art of her receiving a birthday present from the protagonist Akari Akaza on her official Twitter yesterday. Happy birthday, Sakurako-chan!

YuruYuri manga author Namori is as busy as ever. Volume 15 of the series was recently released, and its limited edition had a pack-in bonus booklet of new Ayano prequel stories. She also did work for the Kemono Friends official anthology and Etrian Odyssey 10th anniversary book. Still, she knows a cute girl when she sees one and couldn't let the Eromanga-sensei anime pass without a tribute to heroine Sagiri Izumi.
Manga author Namori (YuruYuri, Ohmuroke) recently offered up a Christmas gift to her fans on Twitter with an original piece of artwork featuring student council members Chitose Ikeda and Ayano Sugiura dressed in seasonal outfits as Santa's elves. Hit the jump to check it out.
