I would imagine that storytelling and writing this might have been a challenge but it manages to have depth and world building.
Worth a look if you need a break from battle robots or ghost stories.

Adorable and relaxingThis anime is incredibly cute and also really relaxing to watch. There's not much in the way of conflict - just lots of lovingly detailed close-ups of delicious food and surprisingly touching stories of the different people coming into the restaurant to eat it. The premise is interesting and it sets up characters in an interesting manners, but unfortionately it is simply so boring to watch. Common thread... here is a secret door to a secret once a week restaurant... keep it secret...To sum up each and every one of the "taster's reactions"... OH YUM.. then done....
