    Full Metal Farming?....
When i first hear about Silver Spoon I was optimistic because for the fact this is the adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa, known for Fullmetal Alchemist, latest work.
so far this has been enjoyable to watch and look forward to the rest of the series.

    Great anime. Very refreshing.
This is quite a unique show. If you love anime, this one is for you. Not for you to stay in front of tv or laptop but to get inspired to pursue dreams or make dreams in life if you don't have one. But of course I'm not saying you shouldn't watch the show (Tsk, I always find it hard explaining inner thoughts). Give it a try! Very refreshing.

    Unique; Warming; Must Watch!
Who would have thought that even farming can be turned into an interesting anime? I didn't, but that's exactly what Silver Spoon has done.

The strongest suit of this show is definitely its characters. The protagonist is someone most watchers should easily be able to relate to - a regular guy who has no experience with the farm life whatsoever. With our regular expectations leading the way, we ...

    Watch this anime series.
I can't believe how good this series is - I mean I almost completely ruled out watching this because it's about agriculture. You need to watch this for a welcome change of pace. It's a great story with a main character that many will be able to relate to in some way. Growing up in a time where the youth have more options than before, but also face more uncertainty; this anime captures that well. ...

When a friend recomended this show I thought he was crazy.
Graet story and development, simple idea, slice of life but great show. Great characters and development.

Because it is about farmin you might think it will be dull but the series can even be eductional, give it a chance.
    Totally recomended.

  • Who needs Fullmetal Alchemist?
I was expecting something much more similar to Fullmetal Alchemist, but I came away just as satisfied. The anime's artwork and gags are really similar, however the foundations create something completely different. As with her previous works Arakawa draws you in with her loveable list of characters, which really reward you due to them all making noticeable developments as the anime continues. ...
