  • Anime interristing but so boring
So annoying, 13 episodes to see a weak hero take off. The fights are average, the story is boring, too bad there was potential but frustrating and boring anime over the episodes. I looked until the end, telling myself that it might get interesting but no. Even the final fight sucks.

  • Trash belongs in the rubbish bin
One of the worst shows of its year. Halfway through the show it seems to skip loads of important details. What those details are is a damn mystery but it is poorly written and the pacing is garbage. None of the characters are likable either. Except for maybe the girl that loves our brain dead protagonist.

  • Very average with dull animation.
This series had a very bad presentation. The art was very cheap looking. in particular the hair and the eyes are very noticeable and there was a lot of softening/blurring. Then they tried to cover it up with cheap HDR. A Korean team also helped so it just doesn't make sense since Korea equates savings. maybe they focused on 3D-CGI but that was also below average.

The female characters look too ...

Began well but had a mess of an ending
The anime was good from the beginning to around episode 7 - it had a decent plot and excellent animation of the fighting scenes but from here it went drastically downhill. They added in multiple enemies that seemed almost impossible to defeat and it just ended with this cycle of meaninglessness in my eyes. All characters seemed to have lost all hope but only carried on for 'justice' which just ...

  • Extremely generic. You have seen shows with this plot 100+ times.
The title of this review says it all. The first episode had a bit of promise as it establishes the idea of tatoos being weapons, an interesting premise with a poor execution in my opinion.Beyond that, nothing is ever interesting and it is a real struggle to watch. None of the annoying, generic, archetype characters are developed and the main character, Seigi, is far too OP in my opinion. I watched ...

    Somewhat ruined halfway through
This anime had a chance to be really great, the table tennis episode is what derailed this train, everything after seemed forced some how. Did the studio run out of time and/or money? maybe a writers strike? this anime is certainly watchable and understandable in a story aspect but pointless plot devices are sprinkled through out, wouldn't watch again.
would give 2 1/2 stars but no half star ...

    Unreasonably low ratings...
Before I begin: I would actually give this more of a 3.5/5 than a 4/5 but that option isn't available so there we go.

Okay, so this is by no means the best show out there. I think you can tell that much from the cover image and description. Having said that, there are ...

This Manga is finally an Anime
I remember I started to read the Manga back in 2010 and loved it but fell out because it was a monthly scan. So happy that it had become an Anime. The anime falls into a lot of cliches, but the manga it is based on is an action adventure seinen there is only so much you can do with originality with these types of themes and the anime only scratches the surface.

    Generic and dissapointing
Maybe the sao and anime only lovers will like it but people who've developed taste will see right through it. Generic plot that's been done 100 times over. Normal boy gets dragged into a world of powers and ends up having some legendary power for almost no reason. Joins an organisation to fight baddies and the trash ensues. Seriously, way too many anime like this nowadays, just makes me sad to see.

not a bad anime by current standards
honestly yes there were some cliches especially towards the end but all in all it was good, steady pacing well choreographed fight scenes and not the worst plot ive ever witnessed. I would recommend it,but perhaps with the caveat of waiting for a second or third episode for a more thorough impression
