NEW AND INTERESTING !!,AND VERY SIMILAR TO MY LIFE :|
i first came across this the other day, and i have to say this , the main character is very similar to myself. so that caught my eye as well as the title 'No matter how you look at it its you guy's fault im not popular!' this in its self has to draw people in. i also like how the main character thoughts are realistic and you can get the point that was given, therefore giving you a second hand ...

    Creating better people
This Anime has great animation, the music fits the position it's placed in and really helps you feel in a similar zone to the main character!

But the anime is painful, this is both good and bad, it's bad because its difficult to watch a main character go threw all this pain, but its good because, if the right people watch this, then they could learn how the other person feels and sympathise ...

    This is tough work...
This is at times a painful show to watch but it's good to see something where the protagonist is not the upstanding virtuous do-gooder guy.
The lack of dozens of the more annoying cliches normally found in anime is much appreciated too.

    Great, but nothing special.
I've really enjoyed it so far and would recommend it to most.

Only problem is that it lacks a bit in character development and I would have preferred to have seen Tomoko grow a bit more over the course of the series.

Apart from that, good humour and Tomoko herself make this a great little anime.

    Best Anime of 2013 :)
While searching through Crunchyroll I was looking for an anime that was different and I normally watch animes that are action packed like Evangelion but then I came across Watamote. I went into this anime with modest expectations and what I go out of it was one of the funniest animes I have ever watched and for me the best new anime I have seen in 2013. The animation was nothing spectacular but ...

No matter how you look at it, this show should be more popular
We are firstly introduced to the main character; the awkward, creepy, bumbling Tomoko Kuroki in denial over her state of popularity, and her incredibly strong shoulders, as she carries the entire show, on her own, good and bad since the plot of this show is basically "let's watch this kid mess up" and fall thinner than a piece of paper stretched across the horizon. These two things can ...

    Reveiw of Watamote..
This anime is great since I can relate to the character and I have moved on from that stage of my life and I can laugh at it knowing that I was like Tomoko at one point in my life. If you are checking out this anime, watch the first four episodes first then how you feel about them keep watching!

    Painfully Entertaining
Watamote is an odd show; our 'hero' is the awkward Otaku Tomoko, social misfit, withdrawn, spiteful, perverted, little high schooler who has no aspirations, except to become popular. With only one friend, she has no social skills, thus trying to attract more friends is very difficult for her. despite all this you find yourself hopping for her success.
Some of the situations and her routines come ...

  • The otaku addiction or reality taken to the next level? You decide.
This had to be funniest anime I've come acrss in a sense where one could relate to the same feelings in her experience. Not only that, but you're guaranteed to enjoy the way the anime flows between obssesive addiction to straightforward reality. I believe whether you're an otaku or just newly introduced to the anime world, take a peek at Watamote and enjoy the craziness of how life goes on in ...

  • Cue second-hand embarrassment...
One of the most original anime I've ever seen. It captivates the daily struggles of a teenage girl plagued with social anxiety. It's a great show if you can empathize with her, but maybe not all the way. Me personally, I can see where she is coming from and have experienced at least some of what she's going through myself, but I hope I'm mostly through this phase now. Still, Tomoko remains ...
