VIDEO: "Bravely Default" Studio Shows Off New Rendering Engine

Silicon Studio puts Yebis 2 engine to work in tech demo

When Bravely Default developer Silicon Studio isn't working on successful, classic-style Japanese RPGs that make Square Enix rethink their company's entire direction, they're cooking up a nice little rendering engine called Yebis 2. 

 

The engine currently supports Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Windows DirectX, with Wii U support on the way. The studio recently uploaded a tech demo video showing off some of Yebis 2's potential, which you can dig into below.
